This is a revised version of my first book ‘ Flowers in Needlepoint Lace’ which has been out of print for approximately 20 years. It was first published by Batsford in 1987 with four colour pages in the middle of the book ….consequently the instructions and illustrations were not close together…..this revised edition has colour throughout so instructions are with the appropriate illustration. Most of the pieces of work in this book are the first pieces worked by students, ( I wanted to show what can be achieved by ‘beginners’), towards the end of the book are pieces which have been loaned to me by established and accomplished lacemakers, for the more adventurous amongst you to try. This book has a spiral binding which means you can fold it back on itself for easy use and bullets have been used for the instructions which makes it much clearer to follow.
